The ''Loose'' Side

I love experimenting in quest of that rare satisfaction achieved when i get something really rewarding out of my experiments. Most of the experiments are either in the kitchen or with my wardrobe. The escapades in the kitchen are not always worthy to be mentioned here but the adventures with my wardrobe pieces are something I would like to ponder upon. The latest addition to my strings of wardrobe revival experiments is the ''loose'' denims. And ask me how much i am loving them and wearing them more frequently. So do you frown or do you rise to ask a question about my fashion sanity ?No Henry,I am totally in my thinking capabilities and talking here today about the ''loose'' jeans which fits comfortably and not like its skinny cousins.

Check out how these denims fall on me ,easy and loose without jeopardizing my production units by being too tight on the nether regions.I am not at all lambasting the skinny jeans and i am a big fan on daily basis but some air on a day or two is good. Isn't it?These jeans are so comfortable and so easy to wear that i feel like sleeping in them(against all the bedroom rules ever etched).

I love ''baptizing'' my clothes and by this i mean to say that I give a name to my wardrobe pieces and following that trend i call these jeans as ''Painter's jeans''.They fit so smartly and easily that i imagine myself to be a painter of some sorts and doing my antics on the canvass in these jeans. For a matter of fact you can be anything from a firefighter to a Jim dandy in those jeans.Just take your call.

Wear these loose jeans with something fit and snug for post 2013 look or you may turn up to be a time machine traveler from 1990's.

Keep the jeans loose but don't overdo with the length and no generosity with fabric at the ankles please.Keep it short and crisp and if i would have been you, i would have flashed some skin by rolling the cuffs a inch or so.Simple rules and great effects: that is what we are talking about here.

Autumn is here and you can feel that in the air and its time your wardrobe feels the same. I team my ''Painters' slash firefighters' slash miners' jeans with a cardigan to keep the mercury levels in check. These jeans are so versatile ,you may try to wear with almost everything without looking that you have been trying hard or you failed at trying something new. Just remember to keep the proportions even by wearing something snug on top and you are ready to be part of clan of men who have graduated from the skinny jeans 'reign.

Hope you liked my experiment and if you want to talk about it more,I am all ears and drop me a comment.

And song of the day to keep you in the groove is :

Well Plaid

Being a Fashion Aficionado makes it imperative for me to scout for latest trends. One of the biggest,not-to-be-missed trend this fall and years to come is the Plaid shirt. But wait and think before you accuse me of wearing and advocating a plaid shirt which is considered to be workers' class stuff. The modern day plaid shirt has revived it self to be one of the most talked about shirt in the fashion cognoscenti. If you have not joined the party of plaid shirts, well latecomers are more than welcome. I love my plaid shirts and have couple (well more than that) in my wardrobe.Fall is the best time to wear them (if not cotton) and it will guarantee you the warmth without making you look like a lumberjack from Tundra. Here I wear my Plaid shirts in different ways and try to break free.

The shirt is one of those don't mess with me sturdy material and I love the way it puts the raw edge to the whole ensemble. The cuffed jeans adds the panache and the Nike trainers, well they are Nike trainers so end of story. If you have not bought yourself a cuffed jeans or a trousers or a sweatpants, well its an emergency for you.Runways and high street fashion labels are full of them and they are kinna style revolution.Trust me ,they are comfortable as hell and instantly adds the required flair.

Plaid Shirts are indeed a superb option to be worn like shirt jacket and its cool.Wear it the way you like it and you join the likes of Dan Auerbach from Black Keys or Jake Gyllenhaal or David Beckham.Yes these dudes love striding in their plaid numbers.Look how easily you can get three different looks and whats more? Its going to be a big hit with your Arabellas or Jacquelines or Catherines. Plaid is a big ''YES'' with the ladies and they will love you for donning this.Need some more reasons?

Cable Knit- United Colors of Benetton

Don't worry the modern Plaid shirt has gone through the renaissance and are safe enough to be worn for casual evenings without giving an impression of you being too casual. This lovely plaid shirt from MR Button is my wardrobe staple and is done in cool cottons.I pair it with my Favorite cable knit jumper to ward off the late September winds without compromising on the look.BTW,the cable knit is one of those must haves in your fall/winter wardrobe and should be on your shopping list.

Shirt-Uniqlo

You definitely don't want to belong to the ranks of suit wearing masses,do you? Wear your plaid shirt with a Jacket and neat jeans over oxford or loafers and you are ready to mark your own impression.Yes guys, wear your slim cut modern day plaid shirts for formal settings and don't worry about being NSFW. You don't want to confuse things by wearing a patterned tie over a plaid shirt so keep it Solid and fix in a tiepin to keep things stable and top notch.Best of all ,get rid of the tie and jacket and your shirt is ready for after hours business at the bar or at a dinner.

Plaid shirts are not Macho but also sophisticated and artsy depending upon how you  pull it. Just don't forget to have that Chutzpah in whatever way you wear and the urban touch will follow you .
